Newsletter 6th October 2013

27th Sunday in Ordinary Time Year C 6 October 2013

TWENTY SEVENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
6th October 2013
Our faith is so often put to the test not just by intellectual doubts but by the difficulties of life. The paradox is that it is only faith that will bring us to life through these trials. It is only faith that allows us to see beyond what we give to what we have already been given by God himself.

TODAY – DAY FOR LIFE
Day for Life 2013 theme: Caring for Life. The Church strives to protect the lives of unborn children and their mothers and to support them – practically, emotionally and spiritually. As parishioners, parents, politicians, members of the legal, caring and medical professions, we have a duty to do all we can to build a culture of life by encouraging our society in its laws and medical practice to care for and protect the life of unborn children and their expectant mothers. From conception to natural death, life is a precious gift. The life of a mother and her unborn child are both sacred and deserve to be equally protected.
