Masses & Devotions

THE EUCHARIST      (from 10.30am on 7^th January 2023.)
Monday – Thursday: 8am & 10.30am

Friday & Saturday: 10.30am & 7pm.

Vigil: Saturday 7pm.

Sunday: 8.30am, 10.30am, 12noon & 7pm. 

Holyday of Obligation: 10.30am, 7pm & 7pm Vigil.

YOUTH MASS
Each Sunday at 7pm for the months leading up to examinations the Mass is offered for all students undertaking second and third level exams. Students are encouraged to be present during this time of prayer for their well being and success.

FIRST FRIDAYS
On the First Friday of each month Mass is celebrated in the Cathedral at 7pm.

STATION MASSES
The Station Mass, where a small community gathers in the house of one of their neighbours for the celebration of Mass, is a strong tradition in our parish. It is generally followed by a cup of tea and a biscuit, nothing more.  Most Station Areas have a Station Mass twice a year. If you would like to host a Station Mass in your home, for your Station Area, please contact your local priest or your local area councillor/ representative on this website.

ST. BERNADETTE’S CHAPEL
A place of quiet prayer in the midst of hustle and bustle of commercial life located on Rockwood Parade in the heart of our city on the bank of the Garavogue River.

Opening hours: 9am to 5pm. Mass is celebrated on the First Monday of the month at 5.15pm. (except on Bank Holidays, when Mass is celebrated on the second Monday)

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament: Each day 9am – 5pm.

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION
Confessions take place in the Cathedral: Saturdays from 2pm to 4pm .
