5th Sunday in Ord Time Year C

TODAY – 10th FEBRUARY 2013
FIFTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
The vocation to serve God does not follow a standard pattern, it is as unique as the person who is called. It came for Isaiah while he was at prayer. It came for Peter in the middle of his work. For both men it means a sense of unworthiness before the presence of God, but both learnt that the service of God does not spring from innate human goodness as much as from the forgiving power of God’s love.
